Sleman, November 11, 2023 - In order to commemorate World Puppetry Day which is celebrated every November 7, the Javanese Language Education Study Program held a celebration agenda which included Cultural Talkshow and Wayang Kulit Performance. This activity was held on November 11, 2023 and took place at Pendapa Tejakusuma, Faculty of Languages, Arts, and Culture UNY.

The Puppet Show in the framework of World Puppetry Day is a program of the Javanese Language Education Study Program together with the Javanese Student Association in 2023. The theme raised at this year's performance is "Pagelaran Ringgit Purwa Minangka Mangun Raos Handarbeni Budaya". It is hoped that from this event, students and participants can foster a sense of enthusiasm to maintain and develop Javanese culture
