Yogyakarta, December 9, 2023 - Javanese Language Education Study Program carried out visiting professor (inbound) activities in collaboration with Jawaharlal Nehru University India. The visiting professor (inbound) activity was carried out as an effort to increase the relationship between the Study Program and international partners. This is also in line with the vision of State University of Yogyakarta (UNY), namely towards a World Class University (WCU). Visiting professors are intended to add insight and academic experience for all UNY lecturers and students by being directly involved in the learning process with professors from abroad. Jawaharlal Nehru University is a Partner of UNY and is a well-qualified university. The selection of Jawaharlal Nehru University as a partner university is not only because the MOU has been established, but also because the Javanese language has Sanskrit courses which are included in the auxiliary language. The output of the activity is a visiting professor (inbound) in the form of teaching Sanskrit 8 times face-to-face online.
